Alvaro Gaitán
Álvaro Gaitán is a microbiologist of Los Andes University in Colombia, with a PhD in Plant Pathology from Cornell University, and studies in genomics, bioinformatics, data mining, genetic resources, and intellectual property. Since 2016 he has been the Director of Scientific Research and Technology of the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia.
