Ochieng Ogodo
Ochieng’ Ogodo is a Nairobi-based award-winning science journalist and a consulting editor. He is a member of the Executive Board of the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) and patron of the Kenya Environment and Science Journalists Association (KENSJA), an affiliate of the WFSJ.
He is the immediate former Regional Coordinator and editor for the UK-based SciDev.Net's Sub-Saharan Africa English Edition. Ochieng was the winner of 2008 Reuters-IUCN Media Awards in Excellence in Environmental Reporting for the English-Speaking Africa and the Middle East region.
He’s a widely travelled journalist who has attended, participated and covered many events in different parts of the world. Ochieng’ is a diligent journalist who has made an impressive contribution to the quality and status of science journalism in Africa and beyond.
