Antioquia is Magic

We are the tourism program of the Government of Antioquia. Our mission is to make you fall in love with our mountains, rivers, towns and sea; we want you to discover the magic of our flavors, the value of the knowledge of our people and to surprise you with the experiences that you can live in every corner of our department.

What we work for

With our work we want to position and strengthen the municipalities of the department as tourist territories at local, regional, national and international levels; through the development of specialized markets, the installation of territorial capacities and marketing focused on knowledge, talents and experiences.

It also seeks to generate a culture of sustainable tourism that allows tourists to get to know, enjoy and respect the region. For this reason, it promotes the responsibility of tourists when visiting the department, in order to contribute to its development.

Antioquia has 125 municipalities divided into its 9 sub-regions, which were categorized and prioritized based on technical criteria for tourism promotion and intervention, selecting 30 of them, plus 5 anchor municipalities, where we work progressively hand in hand with the municipal mayors and allied entities.

How we do it

We work in 4 lines:

Saberes mágicos, which focuses on identifying, creating and strengthening gastronomic and handicraft products that are part of the history, tradition and customs of the municipalities to promote and highlight them.

Magical Talents, which focuses on making the historical and cultural essence of the municipalities visible in order to generate interventions that become tourist references.

Magical Experiences, which focuses on the identification of products and services, to enhance and transform them into transcendent tourist attractions for the territories.

Communication and Promotion, which focuses on creating written, audiovisual and graphic material to promote the knowledge, talents and experiences of each municipality.

Antioquia es Mágica

Somos el programa de Turismo de la Gobernación de Antioquia. Tenemos la misión de enamorarte de nuestras montañas, ríos, pueblos y mar; queremos que descubras la magia de nuestros sabores, el valor de los saberes de nuestra gente y que te sorprendas con las experiencias que puedes vivir en cada rincón de nuestro departamento.

Para qué trabajamos

Con nuestro trabajo queremos posicionar y fortalecer a los municipios del departamento como territorios turísticos a nivel local, regional, nacional e internacional; a través del desarrollo de mercados especializados, la instalación de capacidades territoriales y el marketing enfocados en los saberes, talentos y vivencias.

También busca generar una cultura de turismo sostenible que permita al turista conocer, disfrutar y respetar la región. Por esa razón, promueve la responsabilidad de los turistas al visitar el departamento, para así contribuir al desarrollo del mismo.

Antioquia cuenta con 125 municipios divididos en sus 9 subregiones, los cuales fueron categorizados y priorizados con base en criterios técnicos para realizar la promoción e intervención turística; seleccionando 30 de ellos, más 5 municipios ancla, donde se trabaja progresivamente de la mano con las Alcaldías municipales y entes aliados.

Cómo lo hacemos

Trabajamos en 4 líneas:

Saberes mágicos, que se enfoca en identificar, crear y fortalecer productos gastronómicos y artesanales que hacen parte de la historia, tradición y costumbres de los municipios para impulsar y resaltarlos.

Talentos Mágicos, lo cual se enfoca en visibilizar la esencia histórica y cultural de los municipios para generar intervención que se conviertan en referentes turísticos.

Vivencias Mágicas, que se enfoca en la identificación de productos y servicios, para potenciar y transformarlos en atractivos turísticos trascendentes para los territorios.

Comunicación y Promoción, que se enfoca en crear material escrito, audiovisuales y gráfico para promocionar los saberes, talentos y vivencias de cada municipio.
